ORDER:
- In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued enhancing the Readers, Teachers and Lecturers who are visually handicapped to engage Readers to assist them in reading various books so as to maintain professional standards, at the following rates:

- 2. In the reference 2nd read above, based on the recommendations of the Tenth Pay Revision Commission, 2015, orders were issued implementing the Revised Pay Scales, 2015 with effect from 1-07-2013 with monitory benefit from 02.06.2014. The Pay Revision Commission has, among others, recommended for increase of Readers allowance.
- 3. In the reference 3rd read above, it was informed that it is resolved that the special pays & allowances will be allowed as per the recommendations of PRC, if the same is less than 50% and if the recommendation is more than 50 % of the existing allowances, the enhancement will be 50% enhancement.
- 4. Government after careful examination of the recommendations of the Tenth Pay Revision Commission, 2015 here by enhance the rates of Readers allowance as follows.

- These orders shall come into force with effect from 01.12.2015.
- 6. Necessary amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Manual of Special Pays and Allowances shall be issued in due course.
- 7. This order issues with concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O. No.49027/101/FMU (WCDLH) /2018, Dt:27.07.2018.
