MA & UD Department - Enhancement of funeral charges from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- to the workers working in the Urban Local Bodies on outsourcing/contract basis –Orders – Issued.

1. Minutes of the meeting held with representatives of the Joint Action Committee of Municipal Employees & Workers Unions by the Principal Secretary, MA&UD Department held on 06.10.2017.
2. From the DMA, A.P., Hyderabad, Lr.Roc.No.12033/2/2018/M-SEC/M2, dt. 22.03.2018.

1. In the reference 2nd read above, the Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., Guntur has stated that in certain meetings convened by the Government and Director of Municipal Administration with the representatives of the JAC of A.P., Municipal Employees & Workers Unions on 16-12-2017, 21-12-2017 and 22-12-2017, the employees have raised certain demands, and the demand of enhancement of funeral charges to the outsourced Workers from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.20,000/- is one of the demands.
2. Further, the Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., Guntur has requested the Government to consider the request of the A.P., Municipal Employees & Workers Unions for enhancement of funeral charges from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- and issue necessary orders in the matter.
3. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby enhance funeral charges from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- to the workers working in the Urban Local Bodies on outsourcing/contract basis.
