ORDER :

In the reference 1st read above, a proposal has been submitted to the Government for opening of PF Accounts
for Municipal Teachers and Employees working under Municipal Management for taking further necessary
action and issue necessary instructions to the concerned,

In the reference 2nd read above, Government has ordered for opening of PF Accounts for Municipal Teachers Working in all Urban Local Bodies and Municipal Employees working in all the ULBs except GVMC and VMC duly following the procedure which is being followed in respect of Zilla Parishad Employees and Teachers.

Accordingly, in the reference 3 rd read above, the Commissioner, PR & RD dept, AP, Amaravathi and the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Guntur have been requested to inform the details on the procedure to be followed for opening and maintenance of PF Accounts.

Further, in the reference 4th cited, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, AP, Ibrahimpatnam has been requested to allot Head of Account for subscribing PF by Municipal Teachers and Employees and to suggest the operational guidelines for opening of PF Accounts at State / DDO level and at STO level.

In the reference 5th cited, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, AP, Ibrahnnpatnam bas informed that, it would be better if PF accounts of municipal teachers are maintained on the lines similar to maintenance of PF accounts of Zilla Parishad employees maintained by PR Dept and further suggested to constitute a committee to study the procedures involved in maintenance of ZPPF by PR department and submit report, so as to enable to submit the proposals to Government (Finance Dept.).
