BRAOU B.Ed., ODL Admission counselling schedule details

With reference to your application for admission into B.Ed. (ODL programme) we inform you that you are provisionally selected for the Counselling for Admission. You are required to attend the Admission Counselling at your own expenses on 25-07-2019 at 9 A.M sharp in the Conference Hall, Academic Building of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Jubilee Hills, and Hyderabad. The candidates are called in the Ratio of 1:3 for Admission Counselling. It may be noted that this call letter for Admission Counselling shall not automatically entitle you for a seat in the Programme. The admission is subject to availability of the seats at a programme centre. You should satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down in the notification and prospectus. The admissions are subject to the rules of the State Government, NCTE and Dr. BRAOU.

Important note

As per NCTE-2014 Regulations, apart from the general qualifications and conditions the candidate must be a Trained in-service Teacher in Elementary Education (Candidate should have passed TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./LPT/D.P.Ed/B.P.Ed [OR] A candidate who has completed NCTE recognized Teacher Education Programme (TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./LPT/D.P.Ed/B.P.Ed through FACE-TO-FACE mode are only eligible for admission into B.Ed. ODL Programme. Without any of the above eligibility/qualification your candidature will not be considered for admission.

You should Submit the following documents in ORIGINAL at the time of Admission Counselling

• 1)    On-line Application Form
• 2)    Hall Ticket
• 3)    Rank Card
• 4)    Transfer Certificate
• 5)    Migration Certificate
• 6)    Service Certificate countersigned by MEO
• 7)    TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./LPT Certificate or Certificate of any NCTE recognized Teacher Education Programme
• 8)    Study Certificates from class IX to Degree
• 9)    LatestIntegrated Community Certificate (CASTE) in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
• 10)  UG/PG Degree Certificate and Marks statements (50% Aggregate for OC category and 40% Aggregate for SC/ST/BC/PH categories)
• 11)  SSC / Proof of Date of Birth
• 12)  AADHAAR card
• 13)  Medical Board Certificate in case of PH candidates

➤A set of Xerox copies of all above certificates (i.e. SI. No. 1 to 13) and four recent passport size colour photographs need to be submitted at the time of admission.

Admission fee details

A candidate has to bring Demand Draft drawn in any Nationalized Bank for Rs.25, 000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in favour of The Registrar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad for admission counselling. SBI Branch is available in the University Campus.
