పురపాలక ఉపాధ్యాయులు, ఉద్యోగులకు భవిష్యనిధి ఖాతాలు(పీఎఫ్) తెరిచేందుకు పురపాలక, పట్టణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మార్గదర్శకాలు విడుదల చేసింది. ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న పీఎఫ్ ఖాతాలను ఈ నెల 10లోపు నవీకరించాలని, రుణాల రికవరీలు, వడ్డీ తదితర సమాచారాన్ని రాష్ట్ర పురపాలక ఉన్నతాధికారులకు అందించాలని ఆదేశించింది. కొన్ని చోట్ల పురపాలక ఉపాధ్యాయుల పీఎఫ్ డబ్బులు బ్యాంకులు, తపాలా కార్యాలయాలు, కమిషనర్ వద్ద ఉంటే.. మరికొన్ని ఆ డబ్బులకు సరైన లెక్కలు లేవు, ఇంకొన్ని చోట్ల నిధులు ట్రెజరీల్లోనే ఉండిపోతున్నాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో చర్యలకు ఉపక్రమించింది

The attention of the Commissioners of all the Urban Local Bodies in the State
is invited to the references cited and it is informed that the DTA, Ibramhimpatnam
has convened a meeting on 20.10.2020 at O/o the DTA, Ibrahimpatnam on opening
of P.F Accounts to the Teachers and Employees working in Urban Local Bodies in the
State appointed prior to 01-09-2004 and covered under 010 salary. During the said
meeting the committee has requested the MA & UD Dept., as envisaged here under
- To update the existing PF accounts of all the municipal employees and
Municipal Teachers and also arrive the total amount of each without missing
credits.
- To arrive at the individual PF balances along with accumulated interest and
drawls such as Part final withdrawal and Temporary advance, recovered
installments, loan etc.
- To certify the balance amount of every PF account of the employees and the
teachers by the Commissioners concerned.

2. Further, it is informed that during the above meeting, the DTA authorities
have informed that simultaneously with the above activity other modalities will be
finalized at the State Level for opening of PF Accounts.
3. Therefore, the Commissioners of all the ULBs in the State are requested to
bestow their personal attention and ensure all the PF Accounts of the Teachers and
Employees working in Urban Local Bodies in the State, who were appointed prior to
01-09-2004 and covered under 010 salary, should be updated by 10.11.2020 as
suggested by the DTA authorities and report compliance in the matter.
4. All the RDMAs in the State are requested to guide the Commissioners in their
region in this regard and ensure the above directions are complied with by the
Commissioners in the State without any deviation.
