email From the Director, RIESI, Dt: 09-04-2021 With reference to the subject cited above, all the District Educational Officers, Principals of DIETs in the State are here by informed that, the Regional Institute of English, South India (RIESI), Bengaluru is ofering two (One Year) distance mode programmes for teachers, teacher trainees and general public every year. The frst course is DIEC (Diploma in English Communication) and the other one is PGDELT (Post Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching).
These courses aim to help teachers to improve their profciency in English Language and become efective classroom teachers and acquire knowledge and skills related to language teaching.
2. In this regard, the Director, RIESI has requested in his letter to give wide publicity about these two programmes in the State, so that the interested teachers, teacher trainees and general public can make use of this opportunity and enroll for the programme. The course details are appended with his letter.
3. Hence, all the RJDSEs, DEOs, Principals of DIETs, IASEs and CTEs are requested to give wide publicity about these two Distance Mode courses to the feld functionaries to make them use of this opportunity and enroll for the programmes.
